Heavy equipment for rent and lease, from a road builder’s own fleet

SARL ETAHG rents and leases its own heavy equipment to contractors and project owners in Algeria: hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, vibratory rollers, asphalt pavers, bitumen trucks, trucks and semi-trailers. The machines were assembled to build roads and are dispatched from our equipment depot in Djelfa, on the RN1 axis. Duration, operators, transport and maintenance are agreed for each project.

02Rental or leasing

Rental and leasing: what the difference means here

Rental covers a defined phase of work: a few machines to absorb a peak, to replace a unit under repair or to carry out one scope such as clearing or paving. Leasing, in ETAHG’s offer, is a longer-term arrangement in which machines stay assigned to one project, often for its whole duration.

Both are agreements made directly with ETAHG as the owner of the equipment. They should not be confused with bank equipment leasing (crédit-bail), which is a financing product: ETAHG’s leasing is not financing, it is the longer-term provision of its own machines.

Terms agreed per project

No two sites are alike, so we do not publish fixed rental conditions. The following points are discussed and written into each contract.

    Duration

    Short-term rental for a phase of work or longer-term leasing for the life of a project.

    Operators

    Whether machines are supplied with operators, depending on the project and on the client’s own teams.

    Transport

    Mobilization and demobilization of the machines, and whether and on what terms they are moved by our own semi-trailer trucks.

    Maintenance and repairs

    Who services the machines and who handles repairs, with parts support available through our group company.

    Fuel and consumables

    Who supplies fuel, lubricants and wear parts during the rental.

    Site conditions

    Working hours, access, security, insurance and the responsibilities of each party on site.

04Process

How a rental works

  1. Request

    You send the machine types, the project location, the start date, the expected duration and the scope of work.

  2. Availability and proposal

    We confirm which machines are available and send a proposal with the terms.

  3. Contract

    Duration, operators, transport, maintenance and responsibilities are written into the rental or lease agreement.

  4. Mobilization

    The machines are delivered to site as agreed in the contract.

  5. Work and support

    The machines work on your project; parts for heavy-duty engines are supported through EURL KAYLE KENNY in Algiers.

  6. Return

    At the end of the agreement the machines are demobilized as agreed.

05Why rent from ETAHG

Why rent from a contractor rather than a rental agency

Our machines were acquired for our own road projects, not for a rental catalogue. They are sized for heavy works in Algeria and managed by a company that uses them on its own projects. See our fleet for the equipment categories.

For a foreign contractor starting a project, renting locally avoids the cost and lead time of importing equipment for the first phase and leaves time to decide what to bring in. For an Algerian company, it adds capacity for a peak of work without buying machines. In both cases, the terms are agreed directly with SARL ETAHG, the company that owns the machines.

Questions about equipment rental

Does ETAHG rent heavy equipment in Algeria?

Yes. SARL ETAHG rents and leases its own heavy equipment in Algeria: hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, vibratory rollers, asphalt pavers, bitumen trucks, trucks and semi-trailers. The machines are dispatched from its depot in Djelfa, and terms are agreed per project.

Are operators included in the rental?

SARL ETAHG agrees per project whether machines are supplied with operators, together with duration, transport and maintenance, and writes these terms into the contract.

Does ETAHG offer long-term equipment leasing?

Yes. Besides rental for a phase of work, SARL ETAHG leases machines for longer periods, for example for the duration of a project. This is a direct arrangement with ETAHG as owner, not a bank financing product.

Where can ETAHG equipment be used?

SARL ETAHG’s fleet is based at its equipment depot in Djelfa, on the RN1 north–south axis, and has built roads in many regions of Algeria. Availability for a given location is confirmed when you send your project details.

Can ETAHG transport the machines to our site?

SARL ETAHG operates trucks and tipper semi-trailers. How the machines are transported to and from your site, and on what terms, is agreed per project.

What happens if a rented machine breaks down?

With SARL ETAHG, responsibilities for maintenance and repairs are agreed in the contract before the rental starts. Its group company EURL KAYLE KENNY supplies heavy-duty diesel engine parts from Algiers, which supports the availability of the fleet.
